Nominations For Field Ecology Summer School

The 2019 Field Ecology Summer Regional Governor’s School is coming up this summer and recruitment actitivities are happening now. The event teaches respect for the environment and raises interest in native plant and animal life. It takes place at DSLCC in two sessions, one running June 10 through June 20, focused on a long-term salamander study in the Laurel Fork area of Highland County. The second is June 24 through July 5, focuses on forest ecology. Any current eighth or ninth grader can be nominated.
