Asbestos, Air Conditioning And Parking Priorities For Covington Schools

$30,000 to remove asbestos from a stairwell at Covington High School is one of the priority projects approved by the Covington City School Board this week. Also, $7,200 is earmarked to improve air conditioning in the media room serving Jeter-Watson Intermediate School and Edgemont Elementary. Finally, parking areas will be improved at Covington High School as the three projects combined tally just over $47,000. More projects could be funded if the money surfaces during the budget process.
