Items For Tuesday’s Clifton Forge Town Council Meeting

At Tuesday night’s Clifton Forge Town Council meeting, there’s a public hearing on how to spend just under $330,000 in frant funds. The money from the state department of transportation is intended for a pedestrian bridge planned for the Smith Creek Trail. Also planned, approval of personal property tax relief on qualified vehicles at 67%, and some talk about the Clifton Forge Shrine Club’s Fall Foliage Festival on October 20th through the 22nd, and yearly leaf pickup happening between October 30th and December 10th.
