Shenandoah Property

A new concept plan for the former Shenandoah Life property in Roanoke is not appealing to neighbors. The latest plan from developer Berkley Hall calls for two large buildings with nearly 200 apartments instead of several buildings spread across the site. Opponents are concerned about the 380 parking spaces in the plan and say that’s excessive. They fear the traffic generated by the project will create problems along Brambleton Avenue.
